Authorities today identified a man shot to death Wednesday night as Sylvester Cobb, 31.
He was one of two men killed Wednesday night in separate shootings in Birmingham and Fairfield.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Eufaula Avenue about 10:20 p.m. They found Cobb on the front steps of his home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Cobb was pronounced dead at the scene. He is the city's 42nd homicide this year, compared to 61 for the same time period last yea ...Read More
