In the early hours of a Saturday morning, a private vehicle rushed to Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, carrying an unresponsive Lamar King. It was approximately 2:20 a.m. on March 9, 2024, when the 41-year-old Black male arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
