On the evening of March 17, 2023, 21-year-old Georgio Howell was fatally shot in the 2000 block of Second Avenue in Selma, Alabama. Responding to reports of a shooting around 10 p.m., Selma Police officers found Howell with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
