In the early hours of June 4, 2023, at approximately 1:38 a.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Hillcrest Road in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old David Henley inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Henley was pronounced dead at the scene.
