In the winter of 2015, the life of a young Mobile, Alabama man was cut short in an act of violence that would lead to a years-long legal process. Timothy TJ Tyrone Taylor, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of January 14, 2015. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Helveston Street, where police responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 9:55 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Taylor deceased at the scene, having sustained a gunshot wound.
