JerrMarius Deonta Sills, known professionally as Li Heat, was a 21-year-old rapper from Birmingham, Alabama. On May 27, 2023, at approximately 5:15 PM, Sills was walking in the 1500 block of Avenue L in Birmingham's Ensley neighborhood when he was ambushed by multiple suspects who opened fire, discharging over 20 shots.
