On the night of October 4, 2023, at approximately 11:04 p.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at Brookley Pointe Apartments, located at 600 South Washington Avenue in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 29-year-old Leon Curtis IV, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
