On a Sunday evening in Childersburg, Alabama, the life of 37-year-old Mason Marbury, a Black / African American man, was tragically cut short. On November 12, 2023, gunshots echoed through the Sadie Lee Homes housing community, prompting a response from local law enforcement. Arriving at the scene around 6:34 p.m., officers discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
