On November 12, 2023, 37-year-old Mason Marbury was fatally shot in Childersburg, Alabama. The incident occurred in the Sadie Lee Homes housing community, where officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots around 6:34 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds. Marbury was transported to UAB Hospital by LifeSaver helicopter but succumbed to his injuries.
