William Bernard Kendrick Jr., a 22-year-old Black/African American man, tragically lost his life on the night of May 27, 2021, in his hometown of Childersburg, Alabama. The fatal incident occurred at the Bella Luna event center, where a graduation party was being held. According to reports, Kendrick was attending the celebration when gunfire erupted.
