In the early hours of May 12, 2014, the life of 29-year-old Steven Tawan Twymon, an African American man from Childersburg, Alabama, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded at a pool hall on Third Street in his hometown around 1:00 a.m. An ongoing feud, reportedly spanning over a year and centered around a woman, escalated into a fatal confrontation.
