In the early morning hours of January 30, 2024, the life of 38-year-old Christopher Ryan Martin was cut short in a room at the M Star Hotel in Chickasaw, Alabama. Martin was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound under his chin, and a 9mm shell casing was found near his body. An investigation into his death was promptly launched by the Chickasaw Police Department and the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.
