Kevin Shepherd, a 24-year-old man from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on July 20, 2021, in an act of violence that shocked the local community. The incident took place in the early evening when Montgomery police responded to reports of gunfire in a residential area. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Shepherd suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to provide life-saving assistance, he was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting.
