On October 10, 2021, 13-year-old Corday Byrd was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. in the 800 block of North Burbank Drive, where police responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Byrd with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
