In the early evening of June 24, 2024, Holloway Vason, a 67-year-old male resident of Montgomery, Alabama, was at a convenience store in the 3400 block of Woodley Road. At approximately 7:15 p.m., he sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries three days later on June 27, 2024.
