Quamae Summerlin, an 18-year-old Black male from Montgomery, Alabama, was killed in the first hours of August 4, 2020, when the night broke open with gunfire on Park Towne Way. Just after midnight, Montgomery Police and fire medics were sent to the 4800 block after a report of someone shot. When they arrived, they found Summerlin and another young man, Jeremiah Chatman, both struck by gunfire.
