On August 21, 2022, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Montgomery police responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Eastdale Road South. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Jabriel "GWAPO" Willis suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
