On February 17, 2024, at approximately 11:07 a.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident in the 1500 block of Next Street in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Laguy Robert Charles Miller lying on the roadway with gunshot wounds. Two other individuals, a 16-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, were also found with injuries; the 18-year-old's condition was initially considered life-threatening but was later updated to a less severe status.
