On June 23, 2024, at approximately 5:11 p.m., Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a reported shooting in the 4000 block of Troy Highway, identified as the Circle K gas station. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Natasha McDade with a fatal gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
