On September 6, 2024, at approximately 12:42 PM, Troy Police responded to a reported shooting at a residence on County Road 2221 in Troy, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 37-year-old Jennifer Paramore Hill inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was immediately transported by ambulance to a hospital in Montgomery, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
