In the late spring of 2023, the community of Troy, Alabama, was shaken by the tragic death of 12-year-old Jaquez Mirkel Wynn. On Tuesday, May 30th, law enforcement responded to a call about a shooting in the 900 block of Pike County Lake Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered the young boy had been fatally shot.
