Death by Force

On the evening of September 19, 2024, 35-year-old Diontranet Tinae Brown was fatally shot inside the 604 Bar and Lounge, located at 604 9th Street North in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 8:50 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a report of a person shot at the establishment. Upon arrival, they found Brown unresponsive on the floor, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to UAB Hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel, where she was pronounced deceased.
