On July 3, 2008, 28-year-old Denice Dixon was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred on the 1700 block of 33rd Avenue North, where Dixon was found with multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to UAB Hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
