On October 16, 2016, 31-year-old Ever Cruz was found fatally shot in the Washington, D.C. area. The incident occurred in the early morning hours in the 400 block of Kennedy Street, NW. Authorities arrived at the scene after receiving reports of gunfire. Cruz was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene.
