On August 22, 2019, Ronald Brown, a 28-year-old resident of Southeast, Washington, DC, was fatally shot in the 3400 block of 18th Street, Southeast. The incident occurred around 10:02 PM when members of the Seventh District responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they found Brown unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
