In August 2003, 19-year-old Sonya Dora Ivanoff, a resident of Nome, Alaska, disappeared under mysterious circumstances. On the night of August 10, she and her roommate, Timayre Towarak, spent time with friends. Around 1 a.m., Sonya, not feeling well, decided to walk home alone. This was the last time she was seen alive. When she failed to return home, her roommate reported her missing on August 12.
