In the summer of 2015, a dispute over a faulty firearm tragically cut short the life of a Denver man. On July 27, 2015, 42-year-old Casey Griego was found shot on the floor of a garage at a residence on Grace Place in unincorporated Adams County. He was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center but was pronounced dead. The incident that led to his untimely death began as a drug deal, a transaction that would ultimately escalate into a fatal confrontation.
