On November 25, 2016, in Fairbanks, Alaska, 22-year-old Emily McDonald was found deceased alongside her husband, 22-year-old McKay Hutton; their 8-week-old daughter, Teagan Hutton; and McKay's mother, 54-year-old Linda Hutton. The incident occurred in a room at the Hampton Inn, where all four individuals were discovered with fatal gunshot wounds. A single firearm was recovered at the scene.
