On the night of September 18, 2024, 27-year-old Tyrone Dewayne Hendrix was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 10:40 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots at Brother Bryan Park, located in the Five Points South neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Hendrix lying unresponsive on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced him dead at the scene.
