On the evening of September 18, 2024, the life of 27-year-old Tyrone Dewayne Hendrix, a Black male, was cut short by gunfire in Birmingham, Alabama. The fatal incident occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. in Brother Bryan Park, situated in the city's Five Points South neighborhood. Birmingham Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of multiple gunshots.
