On November 13, 2024, 50-year-old Arlington Jerome Daniel was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 2:13 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to reports of a person shot inside a residence in the 6800 block of 68th Street South. Upon arrival, they discovered Daniel unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a gathering was taking place inside the residence when an altercation occurred.
