In the early morning hours of November 13, 2024, a gathering inside a residence in Birmingham, Alabama, turned fatal for 50-year-old Arlington Jerome Daniel. East Precinct officers responded to a call of a person shot at a house in the 6800 block of 68th Street South at approximately 2:13
a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Daniel unresponsive, having sustained a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service personnel were dispatched to the scene, but tragically, he was pronounced deceased.
The death of Arlington Jerome Daniel marked the city's 127th homicide investigation of 2024.
