On a summer evening in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 30-year-old Reco Dewayn Stevenson was tragically cut short. On Friday, July 26, 2024, Stevenson was found fatally shot inside his vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Westchester Court. The South Precinct of the Birmingham Police Department received a call about the shooting at approximately 9:30 p.m. and arrived to a somber scene.
