On June 29, 2024, 58-year-old Birmingham resident Milton Earl Davis was fatally struck by a vehicle in a parking lot located in the 400 block of Fourth Avenue North. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, and Davis was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:33 a.m.
