On a cold January night in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 35-year-old Black male Teronzel Cox was tragically cut short. On January 14, 2018, Cox was fatally shot in an incident that also claimed the life of another man, Corey Evans. The violence that unfolded that evening was reportedly precipitated by a dispute that erupted over a dice game.
