Preston Williams, an 18-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on February 7, 2021. He was fatally shot in the Ashland Lakes Apartments in the 5500 block of Shakespeare Drive in southeast Shelby County. The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m., and Preston was pronounced dead at the scene. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office launched a homicide investigation into his death.
