On April 29, 2024, Frank Platt, a 74-year-old resident of Nashville, Tennessee, was fatally shot during a road rage incident in Memphis. Platt was visiting his brothers, Malcolm and Michael, in Memphis at the time. The incident occurred on Coleman Road just before 8 p.m. According to Malcolm, a vehicle sped around them in the bike lane, prompting them to honk their horn.
