On May 18, 2020, a tragic incident occurred at a home near 48th Street and Broadway Road in Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the deaths of 30-year-old Cristina Palmares and a 35-year-old male roommate. The victims were shot and killed by Cristina's husband, Estevanico Palmares.

Cristina Palmares, aged 30, was identified as one of the victims found dead at the scene. The other victim, a 35-year-old man, was also a roommate of the couple, though his name was not publicly disclosed.
