Dasia Patterson

In the spring of 2019, a domestic tragedy unfolded in Phoenix, Arizona, culminating in the death of 29-year-old Dasia Patterson. On an April evening, Patterson was shot and killed by her partner, Austin Smith, in their home. The violence that erupted that night also claimed the lives of two of their young daughters, seven-year-old Mayan and five-year-old Nasha.
