initial incident unfolded in September 2022, when Madison, then a toddler, her infant brother, and her 22-year-old father, Demarkus Etwan Moss, were in a vehicle on Arkadelphia Road. Their car was targeted in a shooting, and Moss was fatally wounded. Despite his injuries, he managed to continue driving, ultimately crashing into another vehicle on Interstate 59/20. While Madison's baby brother sustained only minor injuries, she was severely injured.
