In the late afternoon of August 30, 2022, a tragedy unfolded in Klamath Falls, Oregon, ending the life of Shannon Renee Cobillas-Graham, a 41-year-old Caucasian female. Emergency services were summoned to a residence on Clovis Drive at 5:55 PM following a report that a woman had been shot.
Upon their arrival, Klamath County Sheriff's Deputies and Oregon State Police Troopers discovered the bodies of Shannon Renee Cobillas-Graham and 63-year-old Robert Lee Cudo in the yard of the home.
The initial investigation by the Klamath County Major Crime Team suggested a murder-suicide. It is believed that Cudo shot and killed Cobillas-Graham before turning the gun on himself. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation into the double fatality is ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the violent encounter. Shannon was a mother to six children. Authorities have identified Robert Lee Cudo as the suspect in her death. As Cudo died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene, there will be no arrest in this case.
