In the quiet city of Klamath Falls, Oregon, a grim discovery was made on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, marking a violent end to the life of Sonya Stanley, a 41-year-old Caucasian woman. The tragic event unfolded at a residence on Lincoln Street, where officers from the Klamath Falls Police Department were dispatched following a report of a possible suicide.
A family member had gone to check on the occupants of the home and found them both deceased, prompting the call to the authorities.
Upon their arrival, police entered the residence to find a scene of disarray, suggesting a disturbance had taken place. The body of Sonya Stanley was located in the hallway; she had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. In another part of the home, specifically the bedroom, officers found the body of 53-year-old Richard Bellm.
