In the early minutes of July 23, 1977, Carrol Ann Seater—a 23-year-old female from Klamath Falls, Oregon—was spending a warm summer night with her husband at Uncle Albert's Lounge on South Sixth Street when the quiet in the parking area shattered. Around 12:15 a.m., gunfire erupted near the club's entrance, cutting through conversation and neon. Carrol Ann Seater, age 23 and eight months pregnant, fell among the first victims.
