On June 29, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Klamath Falls, Oregon, resulting in the deaths of two teenage sisters, Aleeka Qualls, 19, and Zion Qualls, 14. The sisters, who were descendants of the Klamath Tribes, were found with gunshot wounds after police responded to a call about an armed man hiding in a home and threatening those inside.
