On November 29, 2008, 54-year-old Roland Jackson Dir was found dead inside his residence at 531 SE 155th Avenue in Portland, Oregon. A food delivery man, who regularly brought meals to Dir, discovered his body and immediately contacted authorities. Upon investigation, police determined that Dir had died as a result of homicidal violence, though specific details about the nature of his death have not been publicly disclosed.
