On April 3, 2024, the body of 58-year-old Ricky Baughn Keeler was discovered inside a vehicle partially submerged in a pond off Homestead Road in the Dogtown area of Walker County, Alabama. The Walker County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle and, upon arrival, found Keeler deceased inside.
