In the small city of York, Alabama, the life of 47-year-old Ecoles Cook Jr. was tragically cut short on Valentine's Day in 2015. A resident of the close-knit community, his sudden and violent death sent ripples of concern and sorrow among those who knew him. On that Saturday, February 14th, Cook was the victim of a fatal shooting, a harsh and unexpected end to his life.
