On June 18, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 700 block of 8th Terrace West, located in the College Hills neighborhood. Upon arrival, they were directed to a parking lot within an apartment complex, where they discovered 28-year-old Jonathan Terrance Wynn unresponsive inside a vehicle, having sustained a gunshot wound.
