In the winter of 2021, a tragedy unfolded in a Birmingham, Alabama, home that resulted in the death of 13-year-old Jeremiah Pruitt. On the evening of Tuesday, December 21st, emergency services were called to a residence in the 1500 block of 51st Street in Ensley.
