In the early morning hours of January 8, 2009, a dispute over a car repossession in Birmingham, Alabama, turned deadly, claiming the life of 28-year-old Jason Lee McLendon. A male resident of Pinson, McLendon worked in the repossession industry, a profession fraught with potential conflict.
