On November 17, 2015, 16-year-old African American male Kameron Dumas was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred in the early evening hours in the Inglenook neighborhood, a community on the city's north side. Police responded to reports of gunfire and found the teenager suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate attempts to provide medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
