On June 19, 2019, at approximately 3:54 a.m., 40-year-old Jerand Deon Jackson of Center Point, Alabama, was involved in a fatal incident in Birmingham. Jackson was driving a Chevrolet Camaro in the 1000 block of Third Avenue North when he collided with a motorcyclist. Following the collision, two individuals from another vehicle approached Jackson, assaulted him, and stole his car, leaving him injured in the roadway.
