On November 9, 2020, 18-year-old Ja'mari Demetrius Harris was fatally shot at the Park Brook Apartments in Center Point, Alabama. Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m., where they discovered Harris suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly thereafter.

Harris, a resident of the apartment complex, had received his education from Clay-Chalkville High School and was employed at Sterilite. He ...Read More
